Quick AnswersCourier Johannesburg — Straight Answers
The four questions Johannesburg customers ask most, answered in plain language — pricing, speed, coverage and who to book with across Gauteng.
Q1What is same-day courier delivery in Johannesburg?
Same-day courier is guaranteed 2-4 hour door-to-door delivery across Johannesburg. Choose 2-Hour Express or 4-Hour Standard with real-time GPS tracking and full insurance.
Same-day courier delivery in Johannesburg is an urgent delivery service where your parcel, document or package is collected and delivered on the same day — typically within 2 to 4 hours of booking. UrgentGo offers two speed tiers: 2-Hour Express (from R160) and 4-Hour Standard (from R89). Both come with real-time GPS tracking, SMS updates, digital proof of delivery, and full parcel insurance. The service covers all five Johannesburg metro regions: Northern suburbs (Sandton, Fourways, Midrand), CBD and surrounds (Braamfontein, Newtown), East Rand (Germiston, Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park), West Rand (Roodepoort, Krugersdorp), and Soweto. Unlike overnight couriers, same-day couriers use dedicated point-to-point routing with motorcycles and vans — no consolidation hubs, no overnight warehousing.

Q32-Hour Express vs 4-Hour Standard — which same-day speed do I need?
2-Hour Express is best for legal filings, medical samples, and critical documents. 4-Hour Standard is ideal for ecommerce, business parcels, and non-urgent same-day deliveries.
The 2-Hour Express option guarantees delivery within 2 hours of pickup and is ideal for time-critical deliveries: legal document filings at the Johannesburg High Court, urgent medical samples between hospitals and labs, last-minute tender submissions, property transfer documents, and emergency spare parts. The 4-Hour Standard option guarantees delivery within 4 hours and is perfect for: ecommerce order fulfilment across Gauteng, regular business parcels and inter-office transfers, personal deliveries, and non-urgent document deliveries. Both options include live tracking, SMS updates, and proof of delivery. The 2-Hour Express uses dedicated motorcycle couriers for fastest transit through Joburg traffic.
