Parcel Lockers South Africa

UrgentGo has 248 parcel locker locations across South Africa including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein and Polokwane. Lockers are placed in shopping centres, petrol stations and residential areas. Use our interactive locker map at urgentgocourier.co.za to find the nearest locker to you.

It's simple: book your courier online, select your nearest locker as the drop-off point, arrive at the locker and scan your QR code or enter your PIN to open a compartment, place your parcel inside and close it. UrgentGo collects the parcel and delivers it to the recipient. The recipient gets an SMS with a collection code if they're collecting from a locker, or the parcel is delivered to their door.

Yes! UrgentGo's locker network supports nationwide parcel delivery across South Africa. You can drop your parcel at any locker in any city and we'll deliver it to any address or locker location in the country. Locker-to-locker delivery starts from R59 and door delivery from R89.

60 of our 248 active lockers are open 24/7. The remaining 188 are open during their shopping centre or site trading hours, and each locker page states that location's hours. Check the individual locker listing before you travel if you need out-of-hours access.

A parcel drop-off point is any location where you can hand over a parcel to a courier — this includes our locker stations, kiosk points and partner drop-off locations. A parcel locker specifically refers to the automated secure locker units where you can drop off or collect parcels without needing a staff member present. All our locker stations also function as courier drop-off points.

Parcels can be stored in UrgentGo lockers for up to 48 hours after delivery notification. If the parcel is not collected within this period, it will be returned to the sender or held at our nearest depot. You'll receive reminder SMS notifications before the storage period expires.

Absolutely. All UrgentGo parcel lockers are equipped with 24/7 CCTV surveillance, tamper-proof steel construction, unique access codes per delivery and remote monitoring systems. Each locker compartment can only be opened with the specific QR code or PIN assigned to that delivery.
